This group appeals to people who are prepared to contribute ideas and share in arranging visits to places of historical interest. Members decide at each meeting which site they would like to explore the following month. Then one or two people share in the research and planning for that trip. Sometimes they arrange for a local expert to share their knowledge with the group.
This is a friendly group of keen gardeners with all sorts of gardens. They share the hosting, so they can see each other’s gardens, discuss challenges and get useful feedback. Between them they have lots of knowledge, many skills and a variety of experiences.
Members share their knowledge on many topics, including pruning, edible gardens, companion planting, weed control, composting, plant nutrition and native bush regeneration. They have enjoyed many incidental discussions varying from new bugs to the perfect Guava moth trap recipe!
